Williamsville, N.Y., September 2015 – Great Lakes Medical Imaging (GLMI), Western New York’s largest imaging group, announced today an agreement with Erie County Medical Center to handle all diagnostic imaging services. Services will be provided at ECMC, making it convenient for patients of ECMC and the physicians who refer them. The agreement will extend through 2018.
With 34 on-staff radiologists, five outpatient locations throughout Western New York, five hospital locations, and a billing company, GLMI has grown to become the region’s largest radiology group in the area. In addition to ECMC, GLMI is also the official provider of imaging services for Kaleida Health, the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres.

Glenn-Smith was recently appointed GLMI’s Chief Executive Officer as a result of the firm’s recent growth. Glenn-Smith will focus on continued strategic growth, systematic process enhancements and quality service. Glenn-Smith received her Executive MBA at the University at Buffalo, and is currently in the last phase of completing her doctorate at Nova Southeastern University. Prior to joining GMLI, Glenn-Smith served as the Chief Operating Officer for PLS 3rd Learning, and the Chief Administrative Officer of The Exigence Group.
GLMI’s flagship location in Williamsville is the only imaging center in WNY offering a 1.2 Open High Field MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) which offers a faster, more accurate and comfortable MRI experience for the patient. In addition, this facility offers low dose CT scans, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, bariatric fluoroscopy, x-ray, ultrasound, bone densitometry, pediatric imaging and a full women’s imaging center, including breast MRI and diagnostic biopsy capability.
